@dobbylein93 very relative judgement. I have a tiny 1.51cm horse who can jump about 1.30 high from the walk! Just give him a suspicious looking barrier like a crumbling wall and that's about how high he'll jump just to make sure he won't touch it! LOL. Ofcourse he's a has a very light arab like forehand and some huge bulging muscles on his baroque croup. That comformation alone makes it quite easy for him to leap like a gazelle. Also, if speed throws the horse on the forehand, it won't help

Hahaha! I never place side barriers because of that! I really find it easier to stay on if the horse just skips to the side! Funniest thing is that last saturday I kept making my horse go back till he actually jumped and on the third try he was shaking his head all pissed off, halted by the jump, threw down the tallest pole with his nose and then was all ready to jump afterwards! LOOOOOOOOOOOL! that boy cracks me up everytime!
