Requirement for 9th gup White Belt
3rd Dan Black Belt Rick Brown, of Brown's Karate Academy in Carlinville, IL demonstrates the Front Kick from Forward Stance
Ahp Cha Gi
When performing the Front Kick from a Forward Stance, the key points are:
1. Look straight ahead
2. The hips and shoulders will remain straight through the entire kick
3. Bring the knee up before the kick the technique is meant to go forward, not up into the air
4. Use both hips to thrust straight ahead to provide power
5. The striking area is the ball of the foot, so pull the toes back and extend the foot out
6. Keep the foot of the supporting leg flat on the floor
Thank you so much!
If you need to see specific techniques in a slower or more detailed fashion, just send me a message and I will shoot videos of those moves!

Just a suggestion to make your video more informative, you could explain body balance, knee position, foot striking position, etc... Your kicks are so fast will be hard for a 9th gup to see the exact form. Maybe even a slow motion with audio over it to explain. I commend your efforts to provide free instruction over the Internet! 5 stars
