  • they must get a chaffed horn hand

  • What is the DPU unit on 5788? How about the units on the other train?

  • They have to signal long because of all the morons who go around the gates.

  • Because people in other countrys know to stay off the tracks.

  • cause there are some Americans who are too stupid to look both ways. and the fra rule. and it sounds cool.

  • Because we know it pisses you Eurotrash off to no end.

  • Coool video I love BNSF

  • Under the new FRA laws set out from Jan 1 2005, ALL trains must sound a LONG-LONG-SHORT-LONG pattern at the crossings unless the crossing has been pre-authorised with the FRA as a "quiet zone", which means the crossing must have 4 flashers, gates, bells and any other features. No flashers or bells? the driver sounds the horn!

  • They are required to signal at crossings, however I think they usually do this to excess. It is really annoying.

  • Why are the American trains always using their horn?
