  • This is an amazing tripod. But is there any RRS model that would be shorter when compact? To fit in hand luggage, specifically... thank you!

  • @appacana I'm curious, have you actually used the tripod from RRS? Or do you just base your review on your love of your Gitzo? Because I've seen both in person and I just don't see how a Gitzo can even come close.

  • Gitzo-best tripod, RRS-best ballhead..nuff said!

  • I bought this tripod with the centre column and the BH-55 for about 2 months now. I have used it as as fashion photographer on the field. I must say that I am extremely pleased with this product. Extremely easy and quick to set up and very stable. Thank you RRS

  • $925.00 per tripod is way too expensive

  • @tailpipesmoke

What is the quality difference of the RRS vs the Gitzo carbon series?

  • Beautiful stuff. I'm in love, but I can't afford it. Only a photographer can lust after a tripod!

  • At almost a thousand bucks I'd just as soon go Gitzo!

  • Great, another product I have to buy!

    Hahaha!

Keep up the great work guys!

  • Of course 'it's' in the above post should simply be 'its'.
