Yes, the US has been pretending that Israel was a going to be honorable and peace talks with it were going to do anything. after 20 years of them violating the accords of their own talks and building settlements the poor people of palestine went to the UN & UNESCO for help once they realized Israel meant to remove them from the face of the earth in entirety.
