Burt is genius. Alpert is smart enough to have capitalized on it and allowed him to record his own music in gorgeous instrumental versions. Including some entirely new and gorgeous works such as She's Gone Away, Pacific Coast Highway, Lisa and Freefall. And that's before enterely new albums with new and lesser known songs.
A&M was a damned special label.
