  • So, I guess they never re-opened it as anything, because the building is now filled with wild Flora (and presumably Fauna).

  • Sad but the new owners who put up 25 million are not so sad to put in renovations, they got a steal of a deal. they will do quite well when the economy bounces back. who knows maybe original owners are in on too. claim bankruptcy then family friends come along and renovate and share the wealth.

  • A 30% off on the bill. the food was very good and cheaper than before...

All you read is bad reviews. BUT you don't see why!

This restaurant handle more covers than you can ever imagen in your life OK! someone will say I hate this or this is not good. I've been in restaurants where I eat a gret dish then I come back and is not the same for some reason. or I just had a bad day or I'm an old lonely NY food critic with nothing better to do.

The biggest problem was too many mouths to feed.

  • "You guys"? You have never placed a foot in TOG and you say all this RADIO MOUTH and bad critics gossip BS.

I'm a UNION WORKER not a manager nor the CEO. I CAN CARE LESS BUT WHAT YOU ARE PREACHING IS NOT TRUE!!! OK?? thats what I'm trying to get thru your antagonistic and irrelevant post!!

HAHAHA! a Fillet was $54 years ago! My wife had those @ $34 this year and she ate it all and LOVED it! The food is very good. I had a discount too, 30%

You see you keep typing and saying nada

  • The employees made terrible damage too! in every aspect of the business OK?

DUDE I'm a union worker of TOG who was also a photographer, A / V supervisor, head houseman, AND WE KNOW better than your radio mouth, gossip BS.. OK!?

Do yourself a favor and move along..

  • You guys intentionally started giving garbage food so that people would get upset, @$25 plate, and destroy the place and then pretend that a lot of damage this year caused you to bail out ie. scam. Costs are always past onto the customer, they got the volume. Normally you would save it over some damage, afterall the bank is overloaded from the past two decades, but they are secretly selling out. Now it's going to be $50 a plate and half the customers ie maximum efficiency+optimum damage control.

  • Did you think that 38M was the NET INCOME you BSING dude? Do you even know my fool name yet? What nerves you have. Did you know how much we were getting charged for a new website, JUST BECAUSE we were TOG? U' did not.

    38. Million is nothing compared to what the restaurant used to make when Warner Leroy was alive. The place went down the hill after she got it.

After all expenses back in 1996, 97 TOG was making NET about 8Million.

We were up in the upper 40M and 50M (MILLIONS) OK!

  • You are still lost in your typing there buddy!

I have no intentions to convince you on anything. I just gave you a (don't talk what you don't know)

Do you know how much money goes on food alone? no. How much the rug cost? how much the electrial bill (24/7 lights on)? no. Boiler, AC maintenance, PAY 450 employees, thousands of glass broken, I broke a ton of them.. I can go for even with the expenses.. not to mention the BIG managers payroll...
