Hmmm. I think it's about a girl who thought she would do anything for the other person if they were together. When they did get together she couldn't ever say I Love You and she knew it, which is why she left him. I'm getting this from the "didn't know how to say the words" "left before someone got hurt"

@SupahFly977 mmh, no I don't think so. Because if you read the lyrics she's says "It was now that we were in the same place" which means that prior to this they weren't. And she finds out that there is something she wouldn't and she left before either of them got hurt.

Either way, even if your interpretation is the right one, it's certainly not a song someone's partner would appreciate unless you were broken up lol...

@GreaterAnticipation no offense or anything, but i think she's saying that when she was with her boy, she wouldnt do whatever that one thing was, but now she would do anything for him if they were together. so its more like an i'm sorry song than a love song, i guess.

I'm sorry but for anyone who thinks this is a cute love song, you're absolutely wrong.

It's a song about a woman who thinks there is nothing she wouldn't do to be with her crush, but when she finally is, she decides there IS infact that one thing she couldn't do and she leaves. So please, do yourselves a favour and don't sing this to your boyfriends/girlfriends.
