I just bought this for my T500, but i cannot find the fn-f6 menu. I have a windows 7 image installed over it, and it has all the correct drivers (I can just open the black fn-f5 wireless menu). Any tips?

Model and type of the Lenovo (Like 2924W3V)
Version info from Smart Audio (Viewable in SmartAudio top right corner, little down-arrow -> about) Codec-model : CX20585 Sounddriver : 4.95.48.0 HD Audio API : 1.0.45.0 SmartAudio Version : 6.0.66.0

@oletechy I just went to lenovo and got the latest driver, same issue. Not changed anything about the standard config. Bought it in June

As you can see, even some T410"S" owners haven't been able to get this to work for some unknown reason, so no guarantee on your T410. Best of luck!

Not sure what the issue is for you. Have you tried reinstalling the Conexant (Smart Audio) 20585 HD driver? Have you modified the Lenovo standard configuration in any way?

It's the Startech Displayport to HDMI adapter I picked up on Amazon. No model number or part #.
Check the Lenovo forums to see if some other T500 users have tried this adapter as well.

Correct, the HDMI connection icon in the Smart Audio app "only" shows if you are connected to the TV.
