Llanelli - the heart of Welsh rugby, has for years used this song as its anthem. I was taught it by my grandfather who was raised near Penygroes, Caernarfon, before moving south to Bargoed for coal mine work at the turn of the last century. He played rugby for Bargoed before the war, as did his son Dafydd Gwilym Jones who was also a champion snooker player after the war. Dafydd G notably beat Ray Reardon (later World Champion) in a club match. But who beat the All Blacks? (Cardiff and Wales 1953 Newport 1963 Lanelli 1972)
