take hold of both hands
BASKET CARESS
pull the lady to your right,
step back & at the same time " comb the ladies hair " ( Caress ) let go with left hand. Your Right hand has a complex movement now: first turn the lady at right-angles to you, then immediately start pulling your right arm to turn the lady 1 an a half turns clockwise. Catch right
RETURN ( returns are always anti-clocwise turns )
YOYO (..ask me to describe fully )
RETURN ( anti-clockwise )
as lady is turned go straight into a
COMB with your left hand
Ladies hand slides down your left arm to catch Left
CHANGE PLACES by turning lady anti-clockwise
catch her left arm with your right & slide down it to catch. You are now holding both hands to

Hi
This is MODERN-jive which is also called CEROC, LEROC or FRENCH-jive. Although in this video above, Nick is putting in some sort of footwork, CEROC is free of footwork , Obviously you need to move around to keep balanced during the moves, but that is all. Have a look at the Wikipedia entry for CEROC.
In the UK we have BALLROOM JIVE alias COMPETITION JIVE. This is a completely different dance to the one shown here in this video
