With the Duke of Sodor visiting in a week, having Skarloey break down is the last thing the little engines need. Fortunately, there's another engine available. Unfortunately, not everyone is happy to see the newcomer...

  • well it went down hill when season 7 came, emily isnt bad, etleast HITadded a female to the stem team.

  • me too :)

  • @ChimpManZ1264 I agree. I live in the states and prefer the original books to the tv series as well.

  • @ChimpManZ1264 You have sed exactly what I think about the series.

  • @penninefilms Because the Americans don't understand the history of BR railways like the original Britt Alcroftt did and have turned the TV series into a typical childrens TV show. I was lucky cos when I was a child it was British TV and more like the book though I preferred Ringo Starr to Michael Angelis. Cranky the Crane was ok but when such characters like Emily were added it went down hill.

That is why I prefer Trainz videos made by the fans who really understand who Thomas is.

  • Despite the inconsistencies with both the TV series (with the fact that Skarloey is supposed to be at the works after the events of Four Little Engines) and the RWS, the plot is still enjoyable :)

  • @Lightninging63 Oh wait, if this is following the TV series, then I get why Duke's on the railway that early.. didn't think about the TV series timeline when typing.. my bad.

  • Wait a second, I thought PS and SH were reunited with Duke much later on than this! Rusty and Duncan coming to the railway at about the same time is correct, but with Duke here it messes up the whole book-based timeline. Having said that, the rest of the episode was thoroughly enjoyable, including Rusty's proper intro, I liked that very much.

  • I don't get why people like you can't Wright episode for the TV series.
