A short movie about Holgaroid.
A Holgaroid is a special kind of Holga hack. It involves replacing the usual Holga back with a Polaroid back, which lets you use Polaroid's type 80 or type 100 peel-apart film.

  • Hellho, let me say that´s a great video, just have one question to you, Those VIVA films, where do you find them, i just bought a polaroid to my girlfriend, but i can´t find type 88 films anymore. Can you help me?? Or theres not any solution? Thnk you!

  • @mccreadygossard thank you for the comment. You look for squared format peel apart film. they are all TYPE 80 Film. there are many different iso of type 80:

    84, 89, 88, 87, 90...etc

the only way is to buy old stocks from ebay (if they're available)

check my blog post i've writed about super rare type 80 films :)

  • @fabfabtube Yeah, i have noticed that they stop make those films..mine it´s a 88 film =S What a shame..

  • @xDreww04x yes :)

  • @HelloKorii depends, id go holga over lomo diana f+ because the holga is a whole lot more sturdy. but if you can get your hands on an old diana by all means do it, my old diana f from the 60's has taken all my best pictures!

  • @xDreww04x it depends on what you want. Earlier comment you mention that u're looking for cool effects. Polaroid 300 doesnt offer that b'coz it's just another fuji instax rebrand to polaroid (polaroid licensed them). Polaroid no longer produce film(except the new 300) but u can use impossible project ones but they are still in experimentation phase so expect to see some fail results. If u know how to store the pics, u can keep them for a long time. Plus it is abit overpriced too.

  • @fabfabtube so would you suggest the polaroid 600 over the 300?

  • @HelloKorii very different camersa! Two different worlds! Look @ what you want to do :)
