Don't like the mk4. The "Kinetic" concept doesn't appeal to me. I love the mk3 Mondeo. My grandad always said Ford was a good car and had many. I do like Fords and although the older ones rusted, if you looked after them, they would last almost forever. Some old bloke had an Anglier for 42 years and it lasted so long because he spent time to rust proof it with some Hammerite underneath and went to and from Italy several times. The German built Fords are the better ones in my opinion. US ones no.

@macbookpromaniac I agree with you as long as it's a euro Ford here in the U.S. Ford's are built pretty crappy (with the exception of the Mustang and diesel trucks) low quality economical cars. now that the market crashed ford's quality is slowly going up same with GM but Chrysler is still way behind.

@Nat5622 Haha, maybe Czechs are exporting some durable versions of their cars, since I had 2 Octavias, had to get them towed few times, and official parts on them were so expensive, I can't think of any other manufacturer with parts prices so high. Since my dad works with cars his whole life, I'd rather take his advice and buy Ford. According to his friends, all car technicians, they would never ever buy Honda, or Mazda. Ford all the way. Its also the only brand (from GM) without bailout.

@paladinrulez Actually, Skoda's are now one of the most reliable cars on the market, it goes something like this: Suzuki, Honda, Mazda, Toyota, Skoda, Smart, Citroen, Hyundai, Nissan and then Ford.. Top 10 most reliable cars, in the UK anyway.
