A bit strange, but I must admit that bass player in the pig mask looked pretty cool :)
I did think it was sort of weird... but that bit with George Bush playing the guitar the wrong way around made me chuckle :P

Dunno what else to say, but if I'm being honest I didn't really like the song. The guitar bits were pretty cool though. It's mainly about protesting though and I think you got your message across, so well done.
Good luck.

Senator Maria Cantwell, 2 days ago, introduced legislation to penalize the "speculators," the ones that trade oil high, then take delivery on it and hold it until the prices go even higher, before selling it back to the market. This is similar to what was done to silver back in the '70s. The Commodities Futures Trade Commission (headed by a Bush crownie, kind of the the useless horse lawyer who headed up FEMA during Katrina) will do NOTHING. The Rebublicans KILLED the legislation. Vote them OUT.

Even protests are a reasonable idea, but they need to be aimed at the government, not at the oil companies or the comsumers.

Agreed, however, the government does not seem to be doing anything about it. And if they don't, we're stuck. I did hear there's a move to cap oil profits, but I believe the news today was not good about it's success on capitol hill. One of the reasons I made this was because I heard Bush tell an interviewer there's nothing he or the government can do about it, that it's all on us. I do recall in the 90s when gas prices started to climb that then Pres Clinton somehow put a stop to it.

Sorry about that last reply (I marked it as spam), my keyboard is pretty wonky. Anyways, back on topic: Both Bush and Cheny have their own interests in the oil industry, and Republicans in congress to back it up.

A large problem is the Republican philosophy of Laissez Faire. They believe that this will "fix itself", which is clearly not the case.

Yeah, I figured that last comment was in error. Yeah, the Republicans are a BIG part of this problem. They MUST go in the next election. We can't take another 4 years of their incompetence and abject failure.
