Sims 3 - A Test with NRAA Mod installed

This is a video done with the in game recorder (I usually do not use it but because I am lazy lately I have been lol) after installing Error Trap, OverWatch & Master Controller from NRAAs site you can find here - http://www.the-isz.com/nraas/

These mods help a ton with the game, fixing up a lot of glitches EA has conveniently forgotten. A lot of the glitches happened before Generations came out and are still going on but it's all about how much they can make, not how happy the customer is anymore.

Anyways, after installing these mods (I didn't, I am not computer savvy in the least so *don't* ask me anything about them) I tested the recorder in game and it still looks like crap to me but the game itself looks phenomenal. I can turn all the graphics up and record without problems on the highest settings without compressing the video. Although the size is still blech, going to stick with Fraps for now as far as recording.

Also this video is now very out of date so I would not recommend it as a point of reference on anything having to do with NRAA. It was merely a test at the time to see how well it helped with my computer and running the game. The mods used in this video and even the game version are EXTREMELY OUT OF DATE.

i am probably going to sound dumb because i read the description but not the comment because i am lazy. i was wondering what error trap is? Also is the NRAA the master controller that i want so dearly? If so i was hoping that someone could help me step by step on how to get it (i have a mac BTW) because i have been all over the internet to find it. i downloaded it once but it didn't show up in my game :( if i could get help it would be great!

@waterlover22109 I can't really answer the question if it's the one you want so dearly as I would have no knowledge of said item lol As far as what it actually IS you should really go to the site and check it out because there isn't near enough space in these comments for me to describe everything it can do if you want it to. Everything you need to know including step-by-step is on their site and I highly recommend doing the homework yourself.

@sneakykatze82 Thanks for your help but that's the problem- it's in there where you said it was but there's only that one file that NRAA master controller file and that's it

I just put it in there and turned on the game- nothing happened

as for the sims, I have the original sims 3 with no expansion pack

and I'm seriously clueless as to how ot find out what version I have or what I have to update

I say make sure it is fully up to date because the last ones that were provided require the Town Life Patch from last week to work correctly. As of right now I do not have any of Twallan's mods installed because my friend hasn't gotten around to it lol so I am having to wait. But if you put them in the My Documents/Electronic Arts/Mods/Package - folder with everything else they specifically say to have it work, it works automatically and nothing else needs to be done.

@finnsia In the description of the video - (I didn't, I am not computer savvy in the least so *don't* ask me anything about them) - I said this because I didn't install mine, I had a friend do it. (Honestly, reading text off a monitor hurts my head after so long literally, and you *need* to read *all* the information you can before installing these) He has a detailed forum on the site saying what you need to use even before installing the mods. Also make sure your game is up to date.
