Israel Attacks Hamas

Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak has stated that his country is conducting all-out war against Hamas. Why? The answer to this question is simple. The rockets that Hamas fires into Isreal must be stopped. The world knows this. People need to understand this. With that objective achieved the offensive must cease.

Buddy, what you are saying is not critical thinking, it's rhetoric. You cannot justify killing by saying "War is war" if the war is not legal. If you thought critically, why did you ignore the fact that Israel broke the 6 months cease fire,and only after wards did Hamas launched its rockets?

@muimrm I don't think I made a statement justifying war or killing. War is indeed war. As I stated, it's asinine to think that in war there will be no loss of life. In order to dominate totally one must toss out rules of engagement.  We can no longer stomach such warfare. With regard to critical thinking ... well, I aspire to be. I don't think this aspiration is contrary to any of my statements. I didn't ignore that Israel broke the cease fire. It's not even the point.

@muimrm Hamas remains a terrorist organization that is practicing incremental war against a nuclear power. This is just stupid. In truth, neither side should be firing rockets or bullets. In truth, Hamas needs to choose a path the pulls in international sentiment to such a high degree that the world no longer is accepting of the atrocities, and pushes against Israel in the quest to build a New Palestine.

@muimrm You really dont know what you are talking about. dsbrown is right on. Israel has every right to offend its self. Hamas is firing on Israel everyday. Killing whoever and whenever they can. Is that not true terrorism in are world? Innocents get killed in the proccess. Sad but true. That kind of terrorism needs to be attacked head on. Israel is actually defending agianst it and should! We in America are in trouble.
