I didn't think you could do that without bringing the yarn in front of your work, that's an interesting tip

@meowmeowkitty3 - Type in "Eastern European knitting" and there's a video that shows a slower pace. She uses a dark blue yarn and it's a bit easier to follow.

How do you make twisted stitches, since those are the movements for twisting sts in throwing? What about YOs, increases and decreases from this position?

omg, i can't believe somebody actually knits like me, I learned when i was a little girl in my country but i never seen nobody knitting like that .I have purchased lots of knitting books and I always have to adjust the instruction to the way I knit. Thank you for posting the video, now I have a name to my method of knitting

I'm glad Natalia's clip is getting some viewing and comments. Her Blog is great! This clip is a great tool to show how much FASTER continental really is as compared to "traditional" knitting. It's like the difference between watching someone hunt and peck at a keyboard and watching someone type 120 words a minute! Inspiring when you realize that means 5 sweaters a year as opposed to 2.

I watched closely and see what you are doing, but really appreciated the web page to confirm. Thank you... now I have to get to my yarn to try this out!!!!!

I got it the first time...maybe because I am a quick learner... but practice makes almost perfect

I echo the "way to fast" comments. I even went to the website posted in the "more info" section, and i THINK i know what you're doing, but I'm still not sure!

I will echo the too fast comments but I finally was able to get the purl stitch down with your video. Thank you!
your stitch is very nice, however we cannot see what exactly you are doing. I don't mean to be rude, but you have to teach like you are teaching to a retarded three year old child, otherwise we cannot see what you are doing. Keep this in mind, with lots of explanations, and you'll get less people telling you how fast you are knitting, because what you think is slow, is not slow enough for us to follow
