i think the video is from india. this is the type of suprapubic catheter commercially available in here. malecot is also available but of red rubber type and of poor quality although i agree malecot would be much better

Why would you use a catheter with a balloon if you are going Suprapupic ?
Mallicot is a lot better for the patient as it will cause less bladder irritation and the catheter is already helped to be in place by the sutures
And isn't mallicot cheaper than foley if we would think - Moneywise ?
