In this particular example, no it isn't. This is a a Triumph V8, a very different animal to the Buick/Rover V8.

@wakaday yep, FVH 375L :-)
I brought that car into Ireland in 2004, and re-reg'd with the ZV reg. Absolutely loved that car - sold it on when someone made a good offer for it. Apparently it's in Cyprus now !

Glorious sound! It's either gonna be one of these, a Rover P5 or P6 I'll be getting someday.

@80sfordman Great choice! The P5 is leagues ahead of the P6 in style, class and build quality but the P6 (preferably in 'S' spec) is the more sporting, modern drive. Bit faster to boot as well...

Why did you take the V8 original V8 out of this & put in the Buick V8?

This one's a standard Stag V8 - I assume you mean in the other video!
The Magenta one with the Rover 3.5 in the other clip had that engine fitted pretty much from new, when the Stag unit first let go - it wasn't anything to do with myself.
I'm a fan of the Stag V8 but can see the reason people fit the Rover/Buick unit - I don't think it's something I'd do myself though, having had nothing but good experiences with the Stag 3.0 - lovely engines when they're going right!

I recognise that car. I was partly responsible for it making that noise. It came to us in 1991 for a transplant from a straight six auto to a Man o/d V8. whilst the engine was out we repainted the engine bat which was finished in a rather fetching shade of underseal. yuk.
It was originally Yellow and had uk plates that ended in 375L
