Discuss this video in detail at AlienScientist Forums: http://www.alienscientist.com/forum/showthread.php?320-Evacuated-Tube-Transpo...)

This video discusses the step from Type 0 to Type 1 Civilization and the ET3. This is an extension of the original video that ads TWO and Half minutes of content to the ET3 video. The other material concerning the Orwell society will be reworked as its own video in order to better explain a wider perspective of the big picture.

I knew about ETT way before I realized the seriousness of humanity's current situation I think its important to show your support for the movements out there, but don't tie yourself down to any one thing. Be YOUR OWN movement, Do YOUR OWN research, and don't just rely on what anyone (including me) says. If you think ETT is a great idea, I recommend becoming a licensee and begin joining the effort to get the idea out into the mainstream. I am a supporter of a highly efficient, high speed, global transportation system because I have seen what it has done for cities and commerce in London and New York City who's subway systems transport millions daily. I've seen what the Interstate Highway System and the Trans-Continental Railroad have done for the USA

Engineers have already proven they can do the "impossible" (as long as the science of what they are trying to do isn't flawed) The Science of ETT works. It's readily engineer-able. They built earthquake proof highways in LA..., Expansion joints are part of civil engineering and considerations can be made for tectonic fault lines to make ETT Earthquake-proof.

As for Terrorist Attacks, your one-year odds of dying in a car accident is about one out of 6500. Therefore your lifetime probability (6500 ÷ 78 years life expectancy) of dying in a motor accident are about one in 83. Even if terrorists were able to pull off one attack per year on the scale of the 9/11 atrocity, that would mean your one-year risk would be one in 100,000 and your lifetime risk would be about one in 1300.

And finally all sections of ETT track would be monitored on video or by security, just like airports have to be now. Video cameras, metal detectors and chemical scanners are fine, they are non-invasive (body scanners are invasive)

We need to start talking about Problems AND SOLUTIONS!

  • F= ma only holds for non centrifugal force systems.

  • @Atell77,

@04:52 you will see the centripetal force formula. v^2/r has the units of acceleration.

    How does F=mdv/dt not hold?

  • Go to his site, read all the things there. He looks for idea's to help humanity thats all. He looks into things, gives links to sites for information, history, news articles etc. Then justs asks people to get involved in there own future. You could read that or perhaps present your own ideas. Offer links to support your ideas and ask people to think for themselves. Personally I have a huge amount of respect for alienscientist, like i said, he cares. If only more people cared and got involved.

  • @stasisnu18 every mile or so, there would be escape routes that the capsule would switch over to which have enough room for the car to slow down without exceeding 1g

  • @rachyj20 I don't think so. Tectonic plates move slowly, it would take millions of years most likely for any major shift to have occurred. And there are also automated systems built into it that can detect if a tube breaks and shuts down the tracks until it gets fixed.

  • This is truly amazing! I don't think people realize that this will completely change our world. This to me is even more revolutionary than the internet. Going from New York to Los Angeles in 45 minutes is amazing. This whole system IS the future, but people have to make it happen and not just leave it on a shelf. This can completely rearrange the way we live. I can live in L.A. and commute daily to N.Y. That is freaking insane!

  • wow for once michua koku is talking about something he is qualified for. fossil fuels is a misnomer and not necessarily a bad thing. with the advent of abiotic oil, and the found corruption that made the statement"fossil" fuels possible. we now know that oil is just a mineral composition made by the waste products of diatoms, and merely percolated through fossil layers and has nothing to do with dead vegetation.

  • so what if youre going 4.000 miles per hour, and someone pulls the emergency brake, lol what will happend then :p

  • Use diamagnetism + a "water jacket" for the levitation perhaps?

  • looks like Americans might not have that internet for long if SOPA will pass
