"He did finish grade school down in this part of the country, didn't he?" CLASSIC Bockwinkel!

@hoghash78 In this era,all the wrestling promotions were territorial, meaning that you were most likely to be loyal to the one that aired in your region.

This is exactly what separated Nick Bockwinkel from every other heel in wrestling history. His stellar command of the English language or vernacular was second to none.

I love Nick Bockwinkel.
As a boy seeing him fight Henning Lawler and Zybzco.
That seemed different than WWF.
Although, WWF was my favorite, I still loved AWA and NWA.
The Horsemen, the Von Erichs Pro Wrestling illistrated.
I was so little and I´d buy the magazines.
Hopeing, for Hogan vs Flair.

good match

Interestingly this was a month after Flair regained the NWA belt from Harley Race and five days after the Iron Sheik won the WWF championship from Bob Backlund and less than a month prior to Hogan beating the Sheik. The wrestling world was definitely in a state of flux during the late fall early winter of 1983.

oh please

Lawler is in better shape today

Nick Bockwinkel is probably one of the greatest Wrestler of all time and there is nobody like the King
Bockwinkel was a great heel. Just like Zabysko and Blancard, I hated his guts. Flair was a heel, but he was cool. There was nothing cool about Nick Bockwinkel. He was a smug prick and a great one.

This video should be used in a WWE boardroom on how to cut a promo.
