LOL. I live just round the corner from this pub. It hasn't closed-it is just being refurbished, and they have promised to keep the Kinks stuff intact. I've lived here all my life, and only recently realised the Kinks were from here (Yeah, ok, but I am really young!) and only knew the big hits like "Days" "Waterloo Sunset" and "Lola". So funny that they wrote songs about Fortis Green! It is such an uninteresting corner of the world. Good old Muswell Hill. Didn't realise we were famous until now!
