are these guys fastpitch or slow pitch guys?????coz by the look of things there slow pitch guys and they wont get anywhere near those pitches !!!!

In 12U they have 40ft to react to a pitch, in high school and collage I beleave it is 43 or 45 ft. Either way with speeds that top 70 mph unless its a change up you have very little reaction time. I dare any man out there that thinks it's easy to hit off a Cat Osterman or Langenmen, they couldn't hang 3 up 3 down!!! see ya on the bench guys....

There are 2 reasons why men throw harder than women. First, they are stronger. We all know this. Second, and most important, female pitchers are bound to pitching restrictions that do not exist in men's fastpitch. For example, men can gain more speed because their drag foot does not have to maintain contact with the ground. Its called crowhopping and it allows a pitcher to generate more power. I guarantee that without these restrictions, women would be throwing 7-10 mph faster

@XloversfantasyX7727 oh yeah down here we play mens fast pitch softball all the time and there's this guy that pitches 94mph one of the fastest pitchers in canada. and we pitch at 48 ft. so i dare you to hit off of him

This is a pointless exercise.  Both the batters are slo-pitch players. They won't come within 30 feet of those pitches. They're sluggers and they have to provide all the power, unlike fastpitch players, where the pitch provides the power for the hit.

Plus both have won pretty much every slowpitch title going in the US. For those complaining about it should be BB players look up sports science about the baseball players hitting FP pitching. They can't do it. Completely different sight picture and ball is always coming up rather than falling. Easier to catch up with something that is falling.

@mapache11 ASA isn't slow pitch!? What planet are you on?! Between the ASA, USSSA and the NSA that is pretty much all the slowpitch in the states covered. You not heard of the Border Battle? ASA sanctioned event. Helmer and Wegs play slowpitch and have both won ASA worlds many times.
