On an entirely normal, beautiful fall day in Chester's Mill, Maine, the town is inexplicably and suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world by an invisible force field. Man, Steve has a way of lulling you into this warm cozy false sense of security, and just when you think that everything is going to be OK, Bam some brutally horrible shit happens and blows your mind. Reading his books are like playing russian roullete with your innocence.

@JayneBarnum Just wondering... But i read this book awhile ago and got it the other day on CD. Are you listening to the CD version narrated by Raul Esparza? If so you will love it. Great reader. And yes apparently this is going to be an HBO series. Its far to massive of a story to shove into a 2-3 hour movie. Cant wait for it. Read somewhere its going to be aired sometime in 2011.
