This superficial dismissal of important Gospel teachings only shows just how lacking in depth these speakers are. Mormons are Christian - we believe in Jesus Christ as a member if the God-head. It is in the name of Jesus Christ that all prayers are offered. The Church carries his name. He atoned for our sins. Works are important - no specific amount - but they reflect the depth of our faith. Remember faith without works is dead.
Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) they have used in their arguments against Mormons could have been used against Jesus when his new "cult" hit the scene in Jewish Palestine.

who is seeking to destroy? who is seeking to build their own kingdom and not the Father's? the Father has no use for malls, businesses that play risky and questionable games with people's lives because of greed, nor does the Father need a new hotel in hawaii. the Father needs us to live the teaching's of His Beloved Son who so loved us He suffered and gave His life for us...the Father wants and needs us to love our neighbors more than ourselves, to love as Christ loved.
