@lilbeaveymac actually yes it was always the name of the church since the beginning of the Restoration. We only state that over two thousand years and multiple revisisions, edits and retranslations that parts have been lost, both intentionally and through translation. And yes there are many specific passages which we know that have been affected. We read/teach from the BIble daily, we believe Jesus is God and we are all saved by grace and if we love God we will obey His commandments.

Its hard to comment on the hard core bible thumpers. Just how many different churches are there in the Bible belt USA.? I bet every one of them probably thinks the other is doing it wrong. read your versus again from beginning to end dont skip to 24 cause it sais your right and he's wrong read 1 - 23 too.

doesnt it sound great to be able to just get every reward God has for us and all we have to do is believe in him. i mean i wanna rob a bank and kill my enemies cause they make me mad. I just cant do that in the LDS faith. THAT's it. Im becomming a christian. GOD will let me slide then. LOL.
