Because the real version doesn't have the BBC Arabic sign nor a countdown. 'Mock' doesn't mean satire.

Looks nice - shame you didn't put the last pips up an octave rather than a 4th! - as in the current BBC countdown - but they are in tune at least -

I can't believe you've watched this / commented! The internet is truly ridiculous.
Well the reason I didn't put the pips up the octave, is because unlike the real countdowns, I made the pips on the dominant rather than the tonic (cos it worked better for your theme) but then it made more sense for them to go up a fourth to the tonic for the last 10 seconds. It's better than the abortion they have now - going up at 7 seconds and continuing after the numbers have hit zero!

That is one of the best Amatuer BBC mock videos I've seen on youtube. It's slick, creative, and realistic. Very well done! :)

Thanks Jesse, although I think like above I need to let you know just how little I actually did with this...

What are you talking about??? I didn't edit the footage together - it's the actual TOTH sequence that is used on BBC Arabic, I just added the 'pips' to the music and the DOG and the numbers...
