Okay, first of all, the whole "music holds no value" thing is bullshit. Tell that to the artists who spend weeks pouring their hearts and souls, their blood, sweat, and tears into organizing one perfect 4-7 minute piece of art.

Second, Metal IS one of only a few great music genres in the world. Why? Because it transgresses International and racial boundaries. Polka and Folk music are two others. If it surpasses international and racial boundaries on a GLOBAL scale...it's one of the greatest.

This band is very well educated and regardless of your opinion which is likely not as well educated, this song and many others commands your respect

@CaprarulPavaloaie It depends how you look at it. There are Polka bands hailing from Poland, Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Scandanavia, and other countries, including the U.S. and Britain, all of which have spawned killer Metal bands. International boundaries don't stop musical growth or prowess. A genre's popularity isn't limited to what we may be familiar with or like (though I wish it was In some cases).

I listen to something because I like the sound, I rarely care about any messages in the music. I probably miss out on a lot of stuff that way, but I don't really care.

@InjuKyoshi666 Polka? I'm not saying it's not so, but really? Sure, Folk transcends all boundaries. Metal also (it's one of the reason I love it), but I don't know of any Japanese or Tunisian Polka, for example. Again, I'm not being a prick, it just doesn't sound right to me, but I may be wrong, of course.
