Sr. Ms. Lumbee Pageant

Lumbee TRibe of North Carolina Elder Services hosted this year the first ever Sr. Ms. Lumbee Pageant. We had 5 contestants to enter the event and at the end of the night of July 2nd 2009 we crowned Ms. Mollie the 2009 Sr. Ms. Lumbee. Jimmy Goins Tribal Chairman welcomed the crowd of hundreds to this first-time event. Rev. Mike Cummings and his wife MC'd the event and did a good job. Johnathon Ward provided live flute music during the show, and Little Ms Lumbee & Teen Ms. Lumbee entertained the crowd with the numbers they did to win their titles. This was the first yeah a Sr. mS. Lumbee was included in the week long Lumbee Homecoming Events. Hope see everybody at next years Sr. Ms. Lumbee.
