First off I would unhitch my horse from the cart just incase the horse running around came towards my horse and hit the cart it would set my horse off most likely and then try my best to keep my horse call and out of the way

get everyone to the middle as soon as the first horse got loose, Horses run to the outside looking for an exit when they are scared/in panic like that. Let the hors run itself out, dont chase it
