The problem arises that todays police officers are responding like para military trying to command a situation instead of as a civil servant, to and for the people detailed in the book 'Are There Christian Cops in Austin Texas'. Although the officer was right about a city ordinance shown later in these blog comments, he didn't know it and did not professionally call to the number all police have access to for legal advice. The reason is this: you are now making the cop think about if this law he THINKS might exist really does exist. Cops hate having to go to court ESPECIALLY when a Judge tells the cop he or she was wrong. "Write me a ticket, we will go to court and I will have a judge explain it to you." PERFECT!!!!! Everyone needs to memorize these lines if ever found to be in a dispute with an officer over a fake law that doesn't exist. Cops want you to do whatever they say and that's THE problem. They cannot cite laws because they don't know 50% to 80% of the laws even though that their job is to enforce laws.
