DIY LED Can Uplight

This is the first DIY vid I've posted, though I have some more planned.

This was just an idea that hit me when I saw some powerful LED bulbs go on a really big sale.

Where can I buy the gel covers for the lights?

@tammypam I got the gels from Musiciansfriend. They are very reasonable since you can make several covers out of each sheet. Search for gels and you should find a good selection on their site.

where did you buy the LED bulbs from? Also where can i get the gels from?

@jomairasoria I found the bulbs on clearance at Wal-Mart for about $7 (normally $35+). I only recommend them if you find them under $10. I got my gels from Musiciansfriend.

@sponge2fall03 You can get them from most hardware stores, mine were from Lowes. I believe they were about $4 each.

@ProDiscJockey this is great since i'm trying to do about 30-40 for uplighting. Spending 50-200 bucks per light isn't a good idea.

A very nice concept. keep comming with ideas.. i would only suggest this behind your booth. Or in a srim not around the room. Plug it into a light controller for a nice effect
