I've created multiple mini clips of the heavy duty cycle on this washer. I took all the clips and made it into a long movie. This is a 4-year old Whirlppol Cabrio AGI, installed December 2006. A new and updated computer was put in about a month ago, giving it all new cycles. This video shows how it cleans a heavy load. I wash a full load of towels.

Start- 1:16: Introduction

1:17-2:17: I load the towels into the washer

2:17- 4:17- I start the machine. It does the Stain Treating part. This is before the main wash. It does about 3 cycles total (only 1 in the video) of this before the wash.

4:18- 5:04: This shows the Direct Inject system of the machine. It does this in the beginning of the fill cycle. It sprays a powerful jet full of detergent right into the clothes and distributes evenly. The detergent dissolves well this way.

5:05-5:57: The washer completes Direct Inject. It now dispenses hot water (no detergent) to complete the fill cycle.

5:58-7:58: Washer does main wash for about 20 minutes or so. It's high speed and does very heavy duty cleaning.

7:59-8:55: Washer finishes main wash and drains old water.

8:56-10:30: Washer does 1 of 2 Drain/Spins. This is the first one. The 2nd one is not shown. It also does a 3rd Rinse/Spin (I also did not show). After the 1st brief spin, it flushes the bleach dispenser and then injects it into the clothes before rinse cycle.

10:31-10:50: Washer is filling for one last rinse.

10:50-12:04: Washer does a few minutes of high speed rinse action. Water level is lower this time.

12:04-End: Washer completes final spin cycle. At maximum speed, it is spinning at 1050 RPM! Thats super fast! Final spin lasts about 10 minutes.

  • i got one this machine sucks i change the computer made from china a year ago

now i have a unbalence problems

  • @MegaSinar The unbalance problem is not due to the computer. It's the washing tub, and how it sits in your machine. It is very easy for it to become off balance.

  • you have to see my 2010 Kenmore Top Load washer video, Kenmore redesigned the control panel and they even added a door lock like a front load washing machine!

  • @fedders4 This also has a lid lock. I overrided it in the video so u cud see it
