An evening view standing at the corner of Wilcza and Marszalkowska following the defeat of England by Russia in the Euro 2008 qualifiers which may put England out of the competition.
However there is nothing about that in this film, just a look at what Warsaw is like on a pleasant October evening shot with my new Samsung L73.
And also an unashamed plug for one of my current favourite restaurants - the Vietnam House which is on the north eastern corner of the two streets in question.
Please also see my website and blogs which contain information about where this was filmed and some of the background: http://www.pbn.com.pl and http://www.ceepackaging.com

  • That street wasn't create after 2nd world war, Marszałkowska is from 1766 - 1779 and bulit on order of King Stanislaw August. Please, read something about Warsaw, it is very interesting city.

  • You are wrong. The street in its present form was created after WW2. Look at a pre war map - you will see the Marszałkowska is completely different in the north.

  • Hej mieszkam na wilczej i nie zdziwiłbym się jakbym znał tego gościa co kręci bo pracowałem w Tym barze gdzie on mecze ogląda :) BAR BELOW

Hey i worked at Bar Below mate ;)

  • So it is probably your fault that everytime I go in there, England loses....

    (Croatia, Russia, Portugal....)

  • That very night my friend and I were in the Irish bar that's near the Holiday Inn to watch the Scotland game. He flew back to Scotland the very next day and I stayed until the 7th of November.

That night we searched frantically for somewhere that would show the game - firstly trying the Irish bar in the old town.

What's better is that during my friend's stay in Warsaw, we went to the Vietnam House on a frequent basis!

  • There is no need to search frantically to see the games.

First you can go to Jimmy Bradley's bar in ul. Sienna the address of which I will publish here when I remember it. (I know how to get there but the number I cannot remember and I am now in London.)

Alternatively you can go to Kwai which is at the south eastern intersection of Wilcza and Marszalkowska - here in fact!
