Luke McKnight and Cia Cherryholmes knock this one out of the park. Performed on a morning set, thus the casual clothes. Shot at Hoofer's Gospel Barn in LaGrange, GA early in Cherryholmes career. Molly was only 12 at the time. Beautifully sung duet.

  • Fantastic !

  • @TheHB69 They are, aren't they? Great song sung well with a bit of personal dynamics going on that make it even better. Thanks for commenting. Jack

  • Fabulous!!! Its great to see young musicians playing country music as it should be played.

I heard charlie Louvin sing this several years ago and vocally i dont think his soulful voice can be bettered ( im certain you wont mind me saying that) but its still good to see all you guys and girls doing a fine fine job and keeping country music alive. You put hope back into true country fans hearts that one day we might get more of this on TV andradio across the world . from a UK country fan.

  • You couldn't be more correct. Bluegrass and Classic Country are equally good to me. This clip is from several years ago and is a gem.

always good to here from friends in the UK.

    Cheers!

    Jack

  • Great harmony! Takes me back to a home in western North Carolina. Cia--you and Luke are very talented.

  • Cherry has a beautiful voice no matter what she sings

  • @bluegrassrootstv Yes we in UK generally call it all " country music " collectively , where as we should (because we do know ) state the difference between bluegrass and country .

We hardly get any country music on TV over here I cant remember the last time I saw any on TV, we do have two weekly hourly radio progs on BBC radio but I dont listen 'cos its all the new pop stuff they laughingly call country with a few oldies thrown in .

I listen to "country" on youtube then buy the CDs .

  • Excellent job!

  • great version guys and gals

  • its because his hair is cut off. im sure
