A short walk-through tour of Arcade & Attica GE centercab diesel No. 110 on display in Arcade, New York. Purchased new in 1941 from General Electric, the 44 ton locomotive cut expenses so drastically that the railroad quickly became fully dieselized. The diesels replaced Baldwin 4-6-0 No. 6, the last of the A&A's steamers prior to the acquisition of No. 18 in 1962.
This was the first of the line's three diesels; the other two, GE centercab No. 111 and GE centercab No. 112, remain in service still today. No. 110 is on permanent display at Arcade.
This video was shot June 19, 2010, during the Arcade & Attica's second annual Steam Doubleheader Weekend.
