Sofia Vembo fiddles with the phonograph.
Manos Hadjidakis, Greece's greatest composer, the man who popularized the bouzouki music, composed the music.
Kostas Theodoridis was the cinematographer and Mihalis Cacoyannis directed.
An all time Greek classic, as rare as the phonograph with an all star cast.
