For $5.50 you could have seen the The Doors play Convention Hall in Asbury Park on August 31 1968. Taped my ticket to the vinyl LP and it's still there. Images of Convention Hall are from the past decade. Interior murals (on sides of stage) are signed Brounet Studios, New York 1930. Clips are studio. All images taken with my Sony 828 and R1 cameras.
I was at this concert The opening act was earth Opera and they played the entire Great American Eagle Tragedy now THAT was a concert I was glad I didn't miss I still have my Ticket Stub.....

I was at this concert. I was 14yrs old. If I remember correctly the warm up band was earth oprah. Morrison gave an awsome encore of the end. Unforgettable experience!

hey, I was there too! There were two shows that night - the early show at 7:30PM and the late show at 10PM. I was at the late show - wasn't over until perhaps 12:15AM....then as we were all leaving, the Doors came out and called everyone back in, they wanted to do one more song...."The End"...it was great! I had seen the Doors at the Fillmore East earlier that year, March 22nd? 1968, right after "Unknown Soldier" came out...and then I saw the Doors again at Madison Sq. Garden March 1, 1969...
