Four Cities Symphony - Rome

This is the third movement of the fourth (4th) section test piece for the UK Regionals 2008. It is called Four Cities Symphony, and it's by Rodney Newton. I thought I'd upload it for all fellow brass bander's out there who don't have the CD.

i can't remember but in the beginning of this movement isnt there only supposed to be the horns playing?? =S

not too sure we did our competition at the beginning of this month and i cant remember back that far =P

It's horns, euphoniums and baritones. The second time the phrase comes, sop joins (if they can pitch it :P, intonation is very hard at that point)

thats strange because in the music we had it was nonly horns playing =/

meh never mind we did well anyway, 8th out of 24 and considering the majority of the band are 18 or under i think it was good =D
