just don't take anything away from freddy. he's the man and he's been breaking records since college. first man to ever break 19, first man to ever break 21. this i a great race that shows two different world class swimmers at different parts of their season. both are awesome.. freddy just has way more swag

@commirevo89 Idr exactly what Bousquet's best 100m time was in a regular textile suit, but I remember Michael Phelps's best time without a technical suit being faster than Bousquet's. Plus, Phelps was only .3 away from the 100m freestyle world record in his leadoff leg of the 4x100m freestyle relay during the 08 olympics.

if you notice, phelps does regular freestyle in the first half of each 50 then switches to straight arm in the second half. never seen that before....

@ADVERTlSEMENT No straight arm pull. That would be ineffective plus too much strain on shoulder and arm muscles. Although arm recovery is straight but high elbow pull is the key to freestyle propulsion.
