  • Just take your time and desensitize her to you handling her feet. Rub a little, then stop, rub a little then stop. In a few days, she will let you go futher, and you can hold them.

    I will hopefully be doing a video soon on how to do the desentization process. I'll pick one of my pigs that has not had their feet trimmed before, and explain in detail how it's done.

    As soon as I have time, of course, lol.

  • I have to say thank you. You are the first to explain in a manner that makes me want to try this. Our vet wants to sedate our little girl I'm not into that I will give it a try thanks again.

  • Thank you very much for the demo. You're awesome! I don't have a piggy yet but would like to someday.I currently have dogs and have a similar routine. I think it's very important to trim their nails at their comfort level. It makes it so much easier on yourself!
