Having been to India, I ca say that all this discussion about her not speaking in her 'normal' accent is not only disconcerting but also invalid. Ever been to India? Its a country where they speak 18 languages. That's right. Languages and not dialects. There is no such thing as a unified Indian accent. Most people who live in urban areas speak in a slightly anglicized manner. Sorry to dissapoint you if they do not speak like Apu in Simpsons.

Well..Im an indian. And have been studying in canada for the past 3-4 years. Over a period of time the accent changes. Same with Ms Pinto who has been working all over the globe for the past 3-4 years. But I think she's very average looking. My Gf is hotter than her.
