Storyline: When Merlin and Arthur get stuck in a wizards game, they have to choose which one will live through it. The game is where the wizard gives them two cups, one is filled with poison. When Merlin looks away, Arthur swaps their cups and drinks the poisoned one. Merlin takes Arthur back to Camelot and tries to save him with magic, but its no use. Everyone in Camelot is already gathering to mourn the princes death, while Merlin thinks of every possible way to save Arthur. While he thinks of how to save Arthur, he remembers all the times they shared together and how he hadnt told Arthur that he was a wizard. The wizard makes it more of a HAUNTING, actually, in hope that Merlin will do whatever it takes to save Arthur and stop the hauntings. In the end, Merlin ends up going to his last resort, whos none other than Nimueh, the vengeful witch that King Uther loathes. He goes to the Isle of the Blessed where he meets Nimueh, she tells him that a life must be taken in return for Arthurs life, because the balance of the world must be restored. Merlin enters into the bargain, and Nimueh gives Merlin water from the cup of life. Merlin takes it back to Camelot and gives the water to Arthur. Though Merlin gave his own life for Arthurs, Nimueh takes King Uthers life. Merlin goes back to the Isle of the Blessed and battles Nimueh, who dies at Merlins hand. King Uther is restored, because the balance of the world was restored in Nimuehs unexpected death. Merlin walks back to Camelot to find that everything is back to the way it was suppose to be, but one things changed. Though Arthur was dead when Merlin confessed that he was a wizard, Arthur still recalls it; though he thinks its more of a dream. Will Arthur confess what hes dreamt? Or will Merlin willingly tell him?
