I was about 1 mile away from where these objects were flying over Tucson. Very creepy to say the least.

They are chines lanterns a friend on mine's cousins set off for a wedding party.

@Sk8lovinggirl Yeah, im leaning more towards the chinese lantern theory. Especially after watching Sheila's video more closely. There was no wind at ground level, but that doesnt mean there wasnt any wind a few hundred feet up. The speed they were moving could just be relative to how high up they were. Low height and slow speeds would look like high height and fast speeds.

@Zerostar369 This is wonderful footage. If you are fooling me, I don't care, because this is what I have seen to, also in white, blue and silver colors. I just keep watching through my binoculars on clear nights, and SHOOT was I see! Fastmovers mostly, some light cigar shapes. I have one sighting I wont even mention back in 1987.  Thank you again. We need this type of footage to make gains.

was this the same day where you were able to see saturn? I saw one like this that raced across the sky one day. We were stargazing for saturn and saw these lights to the southeast and all but me left, but all of the sudden they moved lightning fast and just vanished.
