Video taken on my Toshiba Camelio H20 HD camcorder. Video of some flowers and a buddha statue in the garden just as the sun dissappeared so lighting was supplied via a floodlight

  • I have some question! But please reply to me quickly, cause im going to buy this camcorder.

    1. Can I publish a video from this camera straight to youtube? i mean, is it WMV, MP4 or AVI? Or something else??

    2. Is it able to record in the dark?

    3. Is it able to record in the VERY sun? These are the questions. PLEASE REPLY QUICKLY!!!!

  • @Maniplokius Firstly, I wouldn't buy this camera again. I'm sure there are better cameras out there now. I don't have this camera anymore, but will do my best to answer:

    1. I believe the video formats are compatible with YouTube, the box has a YouTube logo on it when you get it, so I think it's safe to say yes.

    2. It can record in the dark, but the light never worked for me, neither as a feature for filming in the dark or as a flash for taking photos

    3. Records very well in good light

  • @cchana thank you for the answer dude. I know that there are better cameras out there , but they cost too much, exaggerating prices. so im gonna buy this camera, cuz now i know that it can record in the dark and very light. oh, sorry about that, but i have another question: is it stereo sound or mono?

  • @Maniplokius sorry, but can't answer that question for sure as I don't have this camera anymore. I *think* it was stereo, but really can't say for sure

  • It doesn't seem to be that bad in low light - good to know.

  • @dummerbube It's OK, but at 1080p, it has a lot of difficulty finding and keeping focus. At 720p, focusing is better, but then the quality isn't as good.

  • @cchana almost in time ;)

  • @nexerman apologies for super late reply... it's OK. Focusing isn't great, but when it has focus, it's pretty good.

  • @thokeJackass I did get a CD but never used the software. I haven't edited anything yet, just uploaded the files the camera creates straight to YouTube! If I were to edit, I'd probably just import to iMovie or something though... (I'm a Mac user, and apart from Adobe Premier, not used anything on a PC for video editing)
