@jserra17 HEUI still uses common rail injection system that is electronically controlled. The difference with HEUI is that instead of an electronic pulse activating a solenoid to open the needle valve within the injector body and injecting diesel into the combustion chamber, the electronic pulse activates a solenoid connected to a separate (from lube system) high pressure hydraulic system which then opens and closes the needle valve can achieve injection pressures of up to 28 000psi.

@jserra17 ummm, the RHS front tyre is a slick and that is how it is meant to look, while it would not have 100% tread remaining looking at it, it is not as you are thinking and completely worn out, far from it infact.
The complete engine has to be changed out, many things are different over and above the fuel inj. system

@MissouriEarthMovers Hydraulic Electronic Unit Injector - its a more efficient means of injecting fuel into each cylinder and results in lower emissions. I think they can use the original engine - sounds like this replaces the fuel injection system with a separate, electronically controlled, high pressure injector for each cylinder. Must be really expensive - there clearly was no money left over to replace the front right tire.
