Two tunes from the Northwest of England: "A Northern Lass" is a slow tune that once had the words of a song to it. "A Northern Frisk" is a 3/2 hornpipe. Played by Mary Humphreys on Wheatsone English concertina and Anahata on Jeffries Anglo concertina. Musical arrangement by Anahata. PDF of music available for download at
www.maryanahata.co.uk/pdf/northernlass2.pdf and www.maryanahata.co.uk/pdf/northernfrisk.pdf
We're running an Easter Weekend tunes workshop in Shropshire - see http://www.maryanahata.co.uk/gleanings.html
