Thanks for the info! I think I've found so far that an inside diameter of 36" works best for me, which also happens to be the most common! I've found a few personal fabricators that I may order a hoop from in the future, but for now, I'm learning at a local aerial school.

Hi! I'm learning hoop now. May I ask what size hoop you find best for your height?

@skrillian Hi honey! The hoop I use is a little bigger. A lot of people like using hoops that are smaller than mine but I use mine for partner work as well and quite honestly I am thinking of selling this one and buying a new one without the handloop - it was great when I was a beginning but has become a little stifling now that I have advanced. The man who makes my circus equipment lives in redlands california and you need only to send him your height and he will make one to fit you.
