Love Norman. I also pick for a living and am a Guild Artist in Australia - one of my guitars is a Chinese made Guild GAD30 ( a fairly cheap one) and it is beautiful. Not as good as my Guild Finesse or CV1C, but close.

Beautiful guitar. I wouldn't be surprised if it cost as much as a new car.

Well sir I dont think image has anything to do with it. Im from a familly of musicians even Mr Rice knows of my uncle has an old guitar case of Tony's. To the point, an old martin has a sound you cant get it from a new martin without a bit of work. Martins have become like anything else. My guitar of choice is an old fransiscan I Gave $75 for. It's been set up to a T and i wouldn't trade it for a new martin. Odds are norman plays "that old martin" cause he hasnt played anything that beats it.

At least I know what I'm talking about whereas you don't have a clue. There should be an I.Q. test required when joining Youtube to keep people like you from posting. As the saying goes, it's better to be silent and thought a fool than to open one's mouth a be proven a fool.

Agree with you jocwalk. Rarely comment anymore . I pick for a living, and you can't educate stupid. Ignorance maybe, but stupid is genetic. Know Norman and Tut & picked with Norman. Played Crafters & they are really fine instruments. It is the luthier. Not the brand. I play a 52 D28, a 76 Mossman, and on the road....a Composite Acoustic Bluegrass Standard w/ Fishman Aura Blender. The Crafters will be with me soon. Thanks for defending artisans like Crafters.

Thanks. I've heard great things about Mossman guitars although I've never seen or heard one. That guy discredited himself as soon as he showed up talking about these guitars being made in China because he didn't take the time to learn the difference between Crafter and Crafters of Tennessee. Like Norman Blake would be playing a made in China piece of junk... :) What next, Tony Rice playing a Jasmine? My point all along was that it's pretty ignorant to say "'X' brand is the best...period."

I just hope you guys don't get so caught up in the "who's better" arguments that you forget to enjoy the music. You know. The forest for the trees and all that......
